// The Numbers, Published

Compare the four methods

Most custom packaging suppliers hide their minimums and production times behind a quote form. We’d rather you plan with the real numbers from day one.

Delivery, your way

Production times above run from artwork approval. Shipping is separate — and flexible.

Sea freight

The most cost-effective way to receive your order.

Airfreight

Around 10 days when you need stock sooner.

Split shipments

Airfreight part of a rotogravure run to start selling — the rest follows by sea.

Ask for current shipping options when you request your quote.

// Under The Minimums?

Not ready for the big minimums yet?

No problem — and no pressure to over-order. The ladder starts lower than you think: stock bags ship from our UK warehouse from a single carton, our in-house short run printing brands kraft stock bags from 500 units, digital printing starts at 2,000 and rotogravure at 10,000. Start where your volumes are today and step up when you’re ready.

// Formats You Can Customise

Pick your format

Every bag format we stock can also be custom printed — plus rollstock film and boxes to match.

// How It Works

From quote to warehouse in five steps

Guided from start to finish — you’ll always know which step your order is on.

01

Get a quote

Tell us your format, size, material and volumes. We quote with real numbers — MOQ, production time and unit cost.

02

Artwork on our cutter guides

Set your artwork on our cutter guides. Our in-house designer checks it and works with your designer daily on adjustments. It’s an artwork check — we don’t design from scratch.

03

Digital proof approval

A digital proof is included with every order — nothing prints until you approve it. Printed proofs are available on demand at extra cost.

04

Production

Your run is printed and made at source. Production after artwork approval: hot stamp ~3 weeks, digital ~3 weeks, rotogravure ~5–7 weeks.

05

Delivery

Sea freight for the best rate, or airfreight in around 10 days when you need stock sooner — then to our UK warehouse, quality-checked and on to your door, ready to fill.

// FAQ

Custom printing, answered

Short run in-house printing starts at 500 units on kraft stock bags, hot stamp printing at 1,000 units, digital printing at 2,000 units and rotogravure at 10,000 units. If you need fewer than that, our stock bags are available from a single carton.

Production takes around 3 weeks for hot stamp and digital printing, and around 5–7 weeks for rotogravure, counted from artwork approval. Shipping is separate and flexible — sea freight is the most cost-effective, and airfreight takes around 10 days when you need stock sooner. Short run in-house printing is quicker still — turnaround is quoted per job.

You choose. Sea freight is the most cost-effective option, and airfreight takes around 10 days when you need stock sooner. You can also split a shipment — airfreight part of a rotogravure run so you can start selling, with the rest following by sea. Ask for current shipping options in your quote.

No — we are not a design studio and we don’t create artwork from scratch. We supply cutter guides for your bag, and our in-house designer checks your artwork and works with your designer on adjustments until everything is print-ready.

Yes. A digital proof is included with every order and nothing goes to press until you approve it. Printed proofs are available on demand at an extra cost.

Digital printing has no setup costs at all — no plates and no hidden charges. Rotogravure uses engraved print drums, which are a separate cost itemised in your quote — never hidden in the bag price — and a long-term asset: drums are reusable across reprints and guaranteed for 2 years, with free replacement if a drum rusts or is damaged in that period. Hot stamp pricing depends on the size of the stamp.

For very short runs, tests and seasonal drops from 500 units on kraft stock bags, choose short run in-house printing. For 1,000–2,000 units of single-colour branding, choose hot stamp. For a first full-colour run, multiple SKUs or photographic artwork from 2,000 units, choose digital. From 10,000 units upwards, rotogravure gives the lowest unit cost.

Short run in-house printing puts your branding on kraft paper stock bags from just 500 units, printed in-house on the front and back panels only — we can’t print on gussets. It has its limitations, but it’s the fastest way to get branded bags at small quantities, and increasingly popular for very short runs, tests and seasonal drops. Turnaround is quick and quoted per job — see short run printing for details.
