The Wicovalve 616 is a round, one-way coffee bag valve with a built-in filter, designed to release CO2 from freshly roasted beans while keeping oxygen and coffee fines out of the valve mechanism. What is the difference between the 616 and the 606?
The Wicovalve 616 includes a filter; the 606 does not. Both are one-way degassing valves for whole bean coffee.
Why choose a filtered valve?
The filter helps keep particles out of the valve, supporting consistent degassing performance.
What pressure does it operate at?
It opens within a 3.0–7.0 mbar range to vent CO2 safely from the bag.
